Professional Organizer Brand Photography in Tacoma, WA
Creating these whimsical, editorial-style brand images for a professional organizer was probably my favorite challenge to date. When I first quit my full-time job back in January 2023 to pursue photography, I reached out to a couple of local small businesses asking if they would let me curate a brand shoot for them. I offered my services in exchange for creative freedom and being able to use the photos in my portfolio. Ashley, owner of Clear Spaces Organizing Co., was one of two brands I made this deal with. She was so excited about the project and we had a blast collaborating.
Though I had creative freedom, it was essential for me to tailor the photo shoot to Ashley’s brand so the images were actually useful to her. We had long conversations about her, the brand, and how she wanted the final photos to make her potential and current clients feel. I presented a slew of wild ideas and we sifted through them together to find the ones that truly aligned with Clear Spaces.
I'm really proud of the floating tools concept I came up with. I probably spent more time making the mobile holding everything in the air than on the actual shoot, but it was 100% worth it. It takes a bit of magic to do what Ashley does, and I wanted to capture that in a fun and visual way. And by magic, I mean refined skills developed over lots of time by hard work and dedication that makes it look easy. There was quite a lot of trial and error in creating the mobile, but it ended up working better than expected and we were both stoked about the results!
