ABOUT me
My name is Janna and I’m a branding photographer in Seattle, WA. I grew up on the hot, sunny beaches of NW Florida and studied psychology at Florida State University. I’ve been playing with cameras since elementary school, and got my first DSLR camera my senior year of high school. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember.
When I was younger, I modeled for over 10 years with major agencies. In the end, it wasn’t my cup of tea, but I learned a lot and my time in the industry has definitely influenced my photographic style.
I help creative business owners and individuals like you bring your photo dreams to life by capturing your true essence. Being yourself in front of a camera can be super hard, especially if you’ve never done it before. The most rewarding part of working with people is when they let me see who they really are. Drishti is a Sanskrit word that translates as ‘focused gaze’. A drishti is a point in space to focus your attention to maintain balance. Just as a physical challenge requires focused concentration, so do the intentions we have for each day and throughout our lives. My intention is to create a comfortable space where my clients can be their true selves. This results in a real connection between us, as well as photos that capture the beautiful reality that is you! I aspire to always offer my services in a way that creates loving community and motivates others to do the same.
