Celebrating Female Entrepreneurship on Lake Washington

Though I don’t exclusively work with women-owned small businesses who love to help others, that definitely describes the majority of my clients. Since I am a woman who owns a small business with the intention of helping people, I relate really well to those on a similar path and they tend to be attracted to my offerings. Lucky me! This brand photo shoot for Julie and her business Ever Afther is a beautiful example of what can come from the collaboration of an amazing group of women.

Julie was referred to me by one of my favorite people, Tonya (owner of Booth & Bard). You can see my first branding shoot with Tonya here. Julie is such a kind, strong woman and I knew we were going to work great together within the first minute of our discovery meeting. She has built her business on connecting and supporting women and her intentions are so beautifully obvious in everything that she does.

My absolute favorite part of this brand session was how many amazing women came together to make it happen. Julie’s community gathered and we had a summer afternoon party on Lake Washington. A friend of Julie’s offered her home as our shoot location. Julie’s daughter, friends, and their daughters became our models. Tonya was there to help with direction, be our hype woman, and as the wonder woman of making all things happen. The weather was divine, the vibes were feminine, and we even took a dip in the lake afterwards to seal our perfect day.
